Pascale VISCARDY (BE)

Pascale Viscardy has a degree in history of art. At the beginning of the 90’s, she enters the Direction des Arts plastiques contemporains (Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles) at the management of the art works.
As a freelance, she’s also associate curator in several important exhibitions in Belgium and in Luxembourg.
As an editorial secretary, she has been working for « l’art même » magazine from its creation in 1998. Quarterly magazine about actual art, initiated and led by Christine Jamart, « l’art même » has been created to support creation in the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles and help the artists to promote their activities.
She develops at the same time an art critic activity and enters the Association des Critiques d’Art (AICA).
In December 2016, she leaves the editorial staff and proposes to develop a ressource pole in the Direction des Arts plastiques contemporains. This ressource pole will seek to establish an eco-systemic map of visual arts in Fédération Wallonie Bruxelles and above. A situational analysis gathering and updating all the proper elements related to the expansion of the artist activities. A platform, designed for visual artists and art professionals in national and international levels.
