28.11.18 - 15.12.18 CAMP À LA mermermer #2 - Creux
Four artists: Manon de la Kethulle, Sophie Langohr, Zoé Médard, Andrea Radermacher-Mennicken, and an art critic: Pauline Salinas, were invited by mermermer to gather in the Belgian Ardennes (Malmedy, August 2018) for a week of intensive artistic production : Le camp à la mermermer #2. Cultivating a festive and creative (even recreational) spirit of the imagery of the « camp », this residence encourages to personal, but also collective, research and creation. Those concerned exchange views, create, withdraw, experiment… The attentive observation aimed at each of them practices and questions raises a common topic, articulating a proper reflection during the stay. This process results in the achievement of a collective publication in limited edition, conceived as a visual space for dialogue.
The exhibition at Les Brasseurs is the second phase of the reflection underway since the collaborative summer retreat, among the installation of individual artworks and the extension of a group work.
